Bolt Thrower

Whew, that was fast! I'm not sure what caused my recent painting frenzy, but I'm trying to put it to good use. Today I've finished my Bolt Thrower and I'm also working on three more units: ten Swordmasters, ten Archers and five Silver Helms (young High Elf nobles on horses). I only finished a couple of models in those units, but I think I might be able to finish some of those units before may and maybe even before my friends and I meet again to paint and game at my house. But let me present to you: the finished Eagle Claw Bolt Thrower!

I love the fact that this thing can shoot loads of arrows every turn. I think it will force my friends to build some war machine hunters, because after I painted the models I'm working on now I will add a second Bolt Thrower. If they don't start to paint some flying units or some fast cavalry these machines will really hurt their light and medium armoured troops! (Yes, that's a threat. Start painting more fast units after you read this!)

Apart from the elves I've also build the building Thijs and Rutger got me for my birthday (in november). It's a ruined mage tower and it looks really cool, but I need to get some new undercoat spray paint before I'll be able to paint it. Hopefully I'll find some time to paint it with all those elves I want to finish in the next few weeks.
